A large abstract composition in mixed media by well known Dutch artist Kees Salentijn. The work is hand signed and framed.
Kees Salentijn (Amsterdam, 1947) is a well-known Dutch painter, collagist and draughtsman. Salentijn was trained at the Art Academy of Amsterdam and at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. He lives and works in the Netherlands, and part-time in Spain.
Salentijn focusses in his work on spontaneous subconscious creation and feels a kinship with Cobra and related movements. Another influence is the celebration of Spanish culture.
