IPman, The asocial thinker, a 2022 original work in stencil, spray paint and acrylic on canvas, 80 x 60 cm, Italy, depicting a historical scene, hand-signed, in excellent condition, sold directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Piece made entirely by hand, canvas 80x60
Title The asocial thinker
IPman (born in 1992 in Chieti) studied at the “Vincenzo Bellisario” Art Institute in Pescara, where he graduated in graphics and advertising printing.
After his initial contact with the world of graffiti, he began experimenting with street art languages and techniques: from stickers to stencils, to urban posters. His sources of inspiration lie in the tensions of the present, between contemporary art and references to the great painters of the past.
His works can be found in various Italian and international cities, and he has participated in numerous urban art festivals in Europe.
In recent years, his career has expanded into the gallery world, while never abandoning the aesthetic and conceptual influence of the street. He experiments with new media such as canvas, wood, and paper, bringing urban energy into more formal contexts.
IPman is a name that's been floating around the streets, but behind it are hands, ideas, anger, and love.
Raised among gray walls and colorful dreams, he pursues a vision that intertwines urban art, underground culture, and visual memory.
He works between Pescara and Rome, between the street and the studio, between glue and paint.
Each piece is a fragment of its time, a cry, a dirty poem.
