Description from the seller

A rare late-20th-century dinner service produced by Richard Ginori and decorated with a refined motif of concentric circles in silver tones.

The service is complete for 6 people and consists of:
6 flat plates
6 deep plates
6 appetizer dishes

Each plate in the set is made of high-quality porcelain and decorated with an elegant series of three concentric circles in silver tones. The choice of this decoration aligns with Richard Ginori's stylistic shift at the end of the 20th century, when, after the brand Pagnossin acquired the company, there was an attempt to relaunch the Florentine manufactory by recovering traditional elements of the art of the table and reworking them in a modern key. Thus, the characteristic gold edging line, present on many Richard Ginori tableware sets, is now repeated three times along the rim of the plates, in shaded tones, more in line with the sober style of the modern house: silver.

In perfect condition, items of excellent quality.

Laveno manufactory mark of the Richard Ginori Group, used in the late 20th century on all plates.

Seller's Story

My name is Riccardo, I recently graduated in Art History from the University of Florence and I am passionate about porcelain. From tableware to artist vases, from figurines to tea and coffee sets, I am fascinated by the mastery and the ability of great artisans and designers who shape this so fragile material, turning a raw mass into masterpieces with a story to tell. During my years at university I became interested in the history of 19th- and 20th-century tableware art; today, every day, I work with prestigious porcelain pieces that always have something to say to me and to those who purchase them. Of my work I love that I can discover more about the objects I find as I travel around Italy, always learning something new. I always strive to convey to my clients this passion I have for the objects I sell, certain that each one of them has a story to tell: the story of who created it, the story of who preserved it, and the story of who will give it a new life.
