A young Renaissance lady, a clear reference and reinterpretation of the Lady with the Ermine, enters the smartphone era. She holds a frame in front of her face and extends her arm for a selfie with an orange phone. The frame does not limit; it stages. The classical portrait becomes a contemporary performance, where the pose is the message and identity is constructed before the camera.

Technique and Creation
High-definition photographic composition with painterly rendering on fine art print. Warm palette, soft studio lighting, attention to the details of the costume and fur. The physical frame introduces a second visual layer that guides the gaze and creates depth. Calibrated post-production to maintain the painterly grain and an elegant balance between the antique and the contemporary.

The work reinterprets Renaissance portraiture in the light of digital self-narration. The reference to the Lady with the Ermine is intentional but not literal, transformed into pop language.
