Wil Raymakers and Thijs Wilms are Dutch authors. In the mid-1980s, Wil Raymakers was engaged by Geesink Studio, a Dutch animation studio notably known for the cartoon The Lion King. After the death of Joop Geesink, the founder, in 1984, Wil ran the company with Louise, the daughter of the former leader. He would then be in charge of the artistic development of the characters, mainly around The Lion King. Parallel to his career as art director, he began a career as an illustrator from 2001 to 2004 with the books Tom Pouce and M.Bumble for Pfizer Edition. Since 2005, he has worked at Dreamchaser Studio. Thijs Whilms is the writer of the comic Moeuh!
