Kronos (2022) – Oil on canvas, 120x80 cm
Description of the work
Imposing and symbolic, "Kronos" is a work of great visual impact that fuses the aesthetics of Neomanierism with contemporary Symbolism. The painting explores the universal theme of time and nature's cyclicality through a dense and richly detailed composition (horror vacui style).

At the center of the scene, human figures with Renaissance features interact with primordial elements: an hourglass, a skull (the classic memento mori) and majestic animal figures (a bear and a wolf) that emerge from a dense field of corn and tropical flowers.

Main features

Deep symbolism: A modern allegory about life, death, and the indissoluble bond between man and nature.

Pictorial quality: Extraordinary rendering of the details, particularly in the golden embroidery of the robe and in the tactile texture of the vegetation.

Generous dimensions: At 120 × 80 cm, the work stands as a centerpiece for discerning contemporary art collections.

Condition: Excellent, work from 2022.

A one-of-a-kind piece capable of furnishing with intellectual elegance, perfect for collectors seeking works with strong narrative content and flawless technique.
