Painting from the F.L.I.B. collection (Fauvist Life Is Beautiful) executed in acrylic on linen canvas by Chus Galiano (Seville, 1975). Graduated in Art from the Open University of Catalonia and holding a Master’s in Art: Idea and Production from the University of Seville.

The Work
========
In this work, the path winds through trees that burst into intense colors: warm oranges, vibrant pinks, deep greens, and blues that bring serenity. Light filters through the canopies and spills over the trail, creating a dynamic play of light and shadow that guides the gaze toward a very bright horizon. Each tree becomes a point of energy, reminding us of its essential role as guardians of natural balance.

The shadows cast by these trees are not tied to a precise moment of the day. They are timeless shadows, symbols of permanence in a world that changes without rest. In them the memory of the landscape is condensed: what has been, what is, and what will continue to be if we care for these essential beings. The work suggests that the shadow of a tree is not the absence of light, but the presence of life, a refuge that protects, balances, and accompanies.

F.L.I.B. proposes a contemporary reinterpretation of the Fauvist spirit, understanding painting as an emotional territory where color acts as a vital force rather than mere description. The collection affirms chromatic freedom that surpasses naturalism, positioning color as an autonomous language, vibrant and deeply connected to sensory experience.

Chus Galiano is a Spanish artist, multidisciplinary and with a strong pictorial vocation. His work is part of collections worldwide and is distinguished by his refined and vibrant use of color as a central language of communication.
