Description from the seller
MiLo – “Wired in Black”
A work by Amsterdam-based artist MiLo (1976).
Wired in Black presents a restrained field of tension and interruption. Thin white lines are scratched into a deep black surface, forming a loose grid that bends and drifts rather than holding rigid order. The structure suggests a fence, wire mesh, or barrier—something both transparent and obstructive.
The composition balances control and vulnerability: a system laid out, then quietly unsettled. Depending on orientation, the work may read as horizontal or vertical, reinforcing the idea of perception shifting with position. The painting can be hung in any direction.
The painting will be rolled up and shipped in a sturdy tube or box, without frame, and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
