With Primordial Symphony, Santicri continues and consolidates his research on the generative tension between destruction and birth, transforming the painterly gesture into a structured and conscious act.

The black surface, deep and absolute, does not serve as a mere backdrop but as an original space: an active void from which calibrated, layered, almost orchestrated color explosions emerge. The detonations of color – vibrant, directional, dynamic – seem to capture the exact moment when chaos decides to transform into form.

The egg, a central element of the artist's practice, is here integrated into the pictorial field as a symbolic and material nucleus. It does not represent birth: it embodies it. Fragmented, immersed in the gesture, it becomes part of a composition that alternates tension and control, impulse and construction.

The work was initially presented in a private studio viewing, where it was described by some observers as a “restrained Big Bang” — a visual score in which every explosion maintains an internal coherence, almost musical, from which the title Primordial Symphony is derived.

In a contemporary context in which Action Painting risks slipping into pure decoration, Santicri returns to the gesture its original dimension: to create means to break, contaminate, reconstruct.
