Abstract composition I is an original 1930s American mixed media artwork by Charles Bert, measuring 29.7 cm high by 19.8 cm wide, signed by hand and in good condition, depicting a portrait in an abstract style.

Abstract avant-garde composition created in 1935 by American artist Charles Bert (born 1873 Milwaukee - died in Lyme, Connecticut, USA). Pupil of Cincinnati Art Gall. , Art League in New York and Academy Julian in Paris. Similar kompositon by Bert was sold by Dobiaschofsky Auctionhouse (Switzerland) on 5.11.1999, Lot 345.

Provenance : French private collection.
Inscription: signed Bert lower right.
Technique: Gouache on card board, unframed.
