Description:

This polychrome bowl with a story depicting figures has a flat rim, curved walls, and a neatly finished foot. The shape is robust, stable, and dignified. The figures are vividly portrayed: a scholar wears an official's hat, a beautiful woman has a high-piled hairstyle, and a boy prepares a horse. The figures have full faces and graceful postures, all depicted with lifelike detail. The background depicts a courtyard with pine trees and rocks, and incense smoke, creating a spacious and elegant composition. (Unfortunately, some glaze has worn off.)


Condition:

Good condition, with signs of use, a small piece of debris on the rim, and some glaze loss. There are no cracks or signs of repair. It produces a clear, crisp sound when tapped. It has been examined with strong UV light. (Please see photos if the text is not clear enough)
