Jared - Moo!

Jared Jones, born 1968 Swansea, Wales now lives and works in Andalucia, Spain. Self taught as a painter drawing on his experience of having achieved a bachelors degree in photography, Maidstone college of art and design and a Masters degree in computer animation at Bournemouth university.

A family of cows going about their business, always inquisitive. Emphasizing the lights play of shadows and darkness, ambience and atmosphere, using multiple layers to create depth and mood, the composition invites the onlooker to circle around the painting to discover small details.

The painting offers bold and loose brush strokes along with specific details to give depth and clarity and is painted on canvas in oils. The canvas is stretched on canvas so it cannot be rolled and the edges are also painted so can be hung without a frame.
