From own collection and extremely unique pocket watch! In working and good condition.
Platinum case with subsequently set diamonds (see photos). Very rare! Sold in June 2024 via auction house imKinsky. Below is the description from the auction house;
"Audemars Piguet Tailcoat watch Switzerland, c. 1920 platinum, 16 diamonds with approx. total 0.80 ct; crown winding; silver-coloured dial, case no. "38195"; anchor escapement with ruby palettes, movement no. "24532"; diamonds probably added later dm. 4 cm"
The back of the pocket watch has been accidentally broken off by the previous owner at the hinges, but opens/closes still when clicked on. The back (incl. diamonds) weighs as seen +/- 12 grams. This is with the current price of platinum already well over €700 (price of 11-2).
The 'converter' is included to wear the pocket watch also as a wristwatch. I bought this afterwards myself and had a custom-made ostrich strap made. Band width is 24 mm.
All sold watches are insured shipped via Catawiki. Make sure your delivery address is correct in your account. I cannot modify this afterwards!!
