Clynelish 12 Year Old Special Release 2022 is a vibrant, limited-edition single malt bottled at natural cask strength (58.5% ABV). Part of Diageo’s “Elusive Expressions” collection, this release explores the distillery’s signature waxy character through maturation in American oak, followed by a finish in PX and Oloroso seasoned casks.

The nose opens with rich notes of honeycomb, ripe orchard fruits and candied citrus, layered over the classic Clynelish beeswax texture. On the palate, it is full-bodied and luminous, delivering flavors of toffee, baked apple, dried fruits and sweet spice, balanced by subtle oak and a silky, wax-driven mouthfeel. The finish is long, warming and gently drying, with lingering sweetness and refined spice.
