YŪREI - Oltre la notte

Where does the moon go at the end of the night? As a child I dreamed of a place beyond the mountains. A kind of cradle or nest where the night would lie down peacefully and be slowly overcome by sleep and dreams. It’s just one of the images I associated with the moon as a child, also imagining climbing the mountains and arriving there when the moon landed. And caressing it slowly, without waking it. Today I no longer think of a moon beyond the night; I think it’s sad, sometimes, to stop being children.
The painting is a canvas work created with extra-pigmented oil paints and cold wax.
YŪREI is the stage name of Nini Ferrara. I am a self-taught painter and sculptor. Highly appreciated by critics and the public, I have exhibited in Italy and abroad: among others in Montecarlo (ArtFair 3F), Luxembourg (ArtFair 3F), Berlin (Galleria Azul), Miami (Red Dot). My paintings are part of private collections in Italy and abroad including: United States, Germany, England, France, Ukraine.
