Elegant decorative poster in Art Nouveau style, depicting the famous composition “L’Ermitage – Revue Illustrée,” one of the most iconic subjects of French illustration at the end of the 19th century.
The work features a refined female figure surrounded by stylized floral motifs, with a harmonious composition and a color palette typical of Symbolist taste and Parisian Art Nouveau.
Note:
This poster is a later edition of the original, probably produced in the 1970s, intended for the decorative and collectible market. It is not a period first edition.
Dimensions 35 x 30 cm
The print faithfully reproduces the drawing attributed to Paul Berthon, an artist associated with the French Art Nouveau milieu and Parisian illustrated magazines, highly regarded for the graphic quality and the elegance of his compositions.
An excellent decorative element for classical or modern interiors, ideal for collectors of Art Nouveau graphics, Liberty posters, and European illustration.
Conditions:
Good overall condition, with normal signs of wear compatible with the edition’s age (slight waviness and small imperfections visible in the photo).
