SCROLLING TIME
Exclusive Matted Edition by Inna Etuvgi
The Story: Styled in the visual language of Dutch Golden Age painting, “Scrolling Time” reflects on 21st-century digital rituals. It captures our modern trance: where we once meditated over a flower, we now "chew" through news, inflating information like bubbles while sinking into the oblivion of the infinite feed.
Through Cybernetic Animism, Inna Etuvgi explores the digital signal as a new natural element. This work is a pointed commentary on the fragility of time—showing how our days slip away, one swipe at a time, blurring the boundary between presence and the digital code.
EDITION NOTE
This special matted edition has been strategically withdrawn from major online galleries (including Singulart and Saatchi Art) to become a Catawiki Exclusive. It is offered exclusively through curated auctions or direct bespoke studio orders, making it a unique opportunity for collectors of contemporary digital art.

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Inna Etuvgi is a Swedish-Chukchi artist whose work defines the concept of Cybernetic Animism—a bridge between indigenous Arctic intuition and technical precision. Raised in a remote village in Chukotka and trained in technical cybernetics, Etuvgi explores the shared "soul" of natural ecosystems and digital algorithms.
An Arte Laguna Prize finalist and recipient of the Swedish Arts Grants Committee grant, her work is held in private collections worldwide. As art critic Tabish Khan notes: “Her work transports us to other worlds—both real and imaginary, but always in harmony with nature.”
