Description from the seller
Superb shark model: Rambo
Very rare specimen
Collector
Models 1988
In 1984, Squale launched this watch model, available in several versions. The differences lie in the bezel, the look and color of the dial, as well as the shape of the hands. The model I am presenting to you is extremely rare, notably thanks to its PUW (Pforzheimer Uhren Werke) movement, a renowned German manufacturer, but here the PUW 2501-2531 movement is manufactured in Switzerland.
The seven-jewel quartz movement is of exceptional precision and manufacturing quality.
The housing, made entirely of stainless steel, consists of two stacked parts.
The upper part, which houses the watch, rotates in the direction of the arrow visible on the left, revealing a compass pointing precisely north. Several watchmakers have used this type of case, offered in two versions, the difference lying in the locking mechanism of the rotating top portion.
This concept of a watch-compass was produced until the early 1990s.
Brought to the big screen by Jackie Chan; numerous appearances in his filmography.
Excellent overall condition, almost NOS
