J. Weber platinum case watch with a 22 mm platinum case, manual-wind movement, white dial, diamond surround with one missing, and four blue sapphires, dating from the 1920s Art Déco, in discreet condition and sold with insured shipping but no original box or papers.

Art Deco Jewelry-Watch by J. Weber – solid platinum, diamonds and sapphires – 1920s
A refined and rare example of Geneva watchmaking-jewelry from the Art Deco period, signed J. Weber on the dial.
This timepiece embodies the geometric elegance of the 1920s, combining noble materials with craftsmanship of the highest order.
- Case: Made of solid platinum, stamped "PLATINE" on the inside. It features a splendid side engraving with floral motifs and edges finished in millegrain.
- Precious stones:
- Outline of natural brilliant-cut diamonds (one brilliant missing, easily restorable).
- 4 blue sapphires, geometrically cut on the sides, a distinctive element of the vintage Deco design.
- Mechanism: high-precision manual-winding mechanical movement. Technical note: The mechanism is intact and running (it starts when prompted), but requires a general overhaul and lubrication due to its age.
- Dimensions: 29 mm x 15 mm (including crown). Case weight without movement: 4.4 g.
- Status: Recently cleaned to bring out the platinum's shine. Missing the original crystal. Missing the strap. In decent condition, to be cleaned and serviced.
External back cover with serial number 1574 95.
- Versatility: Thanks to the integrated lugs, it can be worn as a wristwatch with a silk strap or as an elegant pendant for a necklace.
