Oil portrait on a board titled LADY IN PINK by Laura Muolo (2025), original edition, 37.5 × 23 cm, 0.5 kg, in excellent condition and hand-signed, depicting a portrait and shipped directly from the artist with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Oil portrait on panel.
This portrait draws inspiration from the women of the 1900s. For this reason I wanted to create a cracked background (gluing the paper onto a Masonite panel) and paint over it, obtaining a particularly distinctive antique effect.

NEWS ABOUT THE ARTIST
Laura Muolo, born in 1975, is a Milanese by birth and a Rimini native by adoption. She has been approaching art as a self-taught artist since 2013. Her initial medium is graphite, with which she immediately seeks to achieve the realism of faces, later exploring other mediums such as pastel and painting.
She participates in many group exhibitions across Italy and internationally, and she also exhibits her works in important Italian museums. Her works are part of several private collections around the world. Four solo exhibitions so far. She has collaborated on designing the cover of a poetry book in 2015 and on the cover of a philosophy book in 2023.
Winner and finalist in several artistic competitions, at the national and international level.
Laura describes her work this way: "I prefer oil painting for its reflective nature: it allows me to build the image step by step, changing, smoothing, and perfecting. Sometimes I use pastel on cardboard to capture the subject's essence immediately, in a direct and instinctive way. My style is realistic, but my painting tells inner worlds, hidden emotions, and stories to decipher."
My works move between dreamlike landscapes and figures immersed in their own thoughts, accompanied by shadows that reveal what is unseen: desires, fears, memories. Each scene is born from photographs of young subjects and takes shape through symbols, objects, and animals that give voice to a memory or to a deep feeling. Painting, for me, is a journey into the dimension of the unsaid.
Laura collaborates with the Ranarossa galleries in Modena and LoyeloArtGallery in Volterra.
