Harley-Davidson Sportster 883, first registered in 2003, powered by an 883 cc air‑cooled V‑twin.
Description from the seller
The 2003 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 is an iconic carbureted model, notable for commemorating the brand’s 100th anniversary (1903-2003). It features an air-cooled 883 cc V-twin engine, 5-speed gearbox, belt final drive, and commemorative styling details on the body. It is a classic, reliable, and popular cruiser.
Key Features (2003 Model):
Engine: 883 cc, V-twin at 45°, 4-stroke, air-cooled.
Power: Approximately 47-50 horsepower.
Fuel System: Carburetor.
Transmission: 5 speeds, belt final drive.
Brakes: Front and rear single disc.
Weight: 235 - 255 kg ready to ride.
Fuel Tank Capacity: 12.5 liters.
Edition: Many 2003 models include the 100th Anniversary insignia.
Sound: Distinctive and appreciated thanks to the carbureted engine.
Ride: Manageable and low, ideal for riders seeking a classic riding position.
Value: Considered a collectible piece for the centennial, with prices varying according to condition and mileage.
It has no scratches or problems. The chrome is in good condition, except for the top of the front fork tube.
That can be seen when you look at the odometer.
The two-up seat has a small tear at the rear, barely noticeable, though it also includes a solo seat that would be supplied with the bike.
This bike starts very well and has a spectacular sound thanks to the space-age exhaust pipes. (The originals are included.)
The tank is perfect as shown in the photo, in a very nice Harley blue color. The whole bike is in perfect working order and has just passed the mandatory Spanish vehicle inspection (ITV) without defects for two years.
It’s a Harley like the old days, carbureted. No electronics. Pure. The riding position has been adjusted to be more comfortable by moving the foot position forward and the handlebars were changed to be slightly lower. Once you’re on it, you’ll be happy. I’m selling it because I don’t use it due to age. With great reluctance.
The bike is located in Denia, Spain. Pickup only, though we can help with transportation.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
