Paolo Contin's Senza Titolo (2007), a mixed media acrylic on canvas in an abstract style, hand-signed, 65 by 96 cm, sold with frame as an original piece from Italy.
Description from the seller
Paolo Contin
Untitled 2007
Acrylic on Canvas - Hand-signed - 2007
Original painting sold directly by the artist.
The canvas sits on a solid wood stretcher and is then framed with a protruding wooden moulding painted black. The signature and the certificate of authenticity are on the back of the canvas.
The painting is ready to be hung on a wall with no additional costs, thereby saving at least 300 euros for mounting and framing.
Naturally, the shipping costs are slightly higher than shipping in a tube, but the savings are substantial because you get a complete painting, with the frame.
Shipments to countries outside the European Union are not accepted due to too many bureaucratic problems and very high costs.
The artist, far from schools and trends, creates his works as a free man, following solely his own ideals and personal goals.
In his works, there is a desire to explore towards infinity up to the thresholds of the supersensible.
In this textural painting on canvas prepared by the artist with a gesso-based base, one is immersed in a past from whose geometric lines the artist's history re-emerges, always in search of new elements, new situations, and new images that can satisfy him, using different techniques, drawings, and geometric lines of triangular shape set among well-balanced colors.
Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and has been working in the fields of fashion and art since 1980. In 1999, he began exhibiting his works; in 2002, he held his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Monaco, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.
