Artwork description
Corals Collection No. 13 is part of the first collection created by Carolina Bellachi, a foundational series that established her underwater visual language and her exploration of light, vibration and mineral matter.
The artwork represents an abstract coral landscape where marked reliefs and mineral textures generate depth and structural presence. Through successive layers of acrylic and natural mineral pigments, the piece gains visual intensity that shifts subtly depending on the light.
Color symbolism within the marine world and the Emergetist philosophy:
• Deep blues represent the immensity and silence of the ocean, associated with expanded consciousness.
• Turquoise tones evoke transition, balance and the connection between surface and depth.
• Darker areas suggest mystery, introspection and inner transformation.
• Luminous accents symbolize life emerging even in the deepest spaces.
In this collection, coral becomes a symbol of resilience, organic evolution and collective strength. Within the Emergetist vision, the seabed serves as a metaphor for the human interior: in depth, light reveals itself.
⸻
Emergetism
Emergetism is the philosophical-artistic movement founded by Carolina Bellachi. The artwork is not meant to be interpreted but experienced. It functions as a mirror of the observer, creating emotional and conscious connection.
Through mineral pigments, layered structures and textured reliefs, the painting generates vibrational movement. Light is not imposed — it emerges from within the work itself.
Each piece invites immersion and inner recognition.
