Description from the seller
Unique artwork by ERIC LESPINASSE - 1/1 - Exclusively on Catawiki
Title of the work: #1 - Graphic Vertigo - XXL
Giclée print on canvas - from the series "Graphic Vertigo" 2026.
Original canvas from the artist's studio by Eric Lespinasse.
Elegance, modernity, and high quality are the words that best define the finish of this work.
Presentation of the Work
This series of digital paintings explores the art of absolute contrast through a hypnotic graphic aesthetic inspired by Op Art, Art Deco, and contemporary tribal body painting. Using exclusively black and white in dizzying compositions of stripes, spirals, geometric motifs, and visual labyrinths, each work transforms the female body into a living kinetic sculpture. The sole chromatic concession — a vibrant scarlet red on the lips and heels — serves as a dramatic anchor in this monochrome swirl. The intricate motifs create optical illusions where figure and background dissolve, where skin becomes textile and clothing becomes skin, questioning the borders between body and space. This series celebrates radical geometric elegance, avant-garde glamour, and the hypnotic power of graphic repetition, creating a fascinating visual universe where sophistication and optical vertigo converge.

Details of the Work:
Print without margin on 'fine art' canvas 350 g/m² (high-quality polycotton blend) – latex inks without frame or mount. As this is an XXL canvas, it should be viewed from a distance; the print resolution is 300 DPI to ensure optimal viewing of the artwork at approximately 1.5 meters (not for close-up like a photo print).
Dimensions: 100 x 100 cm.
Year of production 2026
Unique 1/1 artwork numbered and signed by the artist on the back of the artwork.
Sent with a certificate of authenticity (COA)
New / Frame not included / Unframed.
A peripheral white margin of 3 cm is added to the dimensions of the artwork, allowing the buyer the possibility of mounting it on a wooden frame.
Technique used & creative process:
The artist primarily uses the Adobe suite (Illustrator – Photoshop – Lightroom) to create the base of the artwork. AI generative tools, such as Midjourney, can be used to modify certain textures, backgrounds, integrations into a scene, etc…
A specific tool called 'Mégapixel', an artificial intelligence, is systematically used for scaling, allowing the editing of large XXL formats.
Delivery information (to be read carefully before bidding):
Your artwork - Canvas will be sent rolled in a suitable cardboard tube.
