Description from the seller
George Heidweiller, artist, Beverwijk, 1963, is a Dutch artist who grew up largely outside the Netherlands, in New York, Curaçao and Suriname. He began his studies at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 1981. After finishing, he moved to Amsterdam. In addition to his own work, he helped Herman Brood with his painting project Streetcar Line 2. He combines photography and screen printing with brushwork, working with acrylic on surfaces that start off figurative and end in abstract ambiguities, with decidedly pop strokes.
An artist focused on the future and the most modern pleasures of the European collection.
