Description from the seller
Signed Limoges enamel box, handmade and signed – M. Mestour – refined atelier work – ca. 1950–1975
This high-quality studio piece is executed in multilayer relief enamel on copper/brass and is characterized by a rich, iridescent color palette in emerald green, gold, ruby red, and purple. The applied glass cabochons in warm amber and garnet tones give the object a jewel-like appearance and added depth.
