Description from the seller
This silkscreen print was made using a second-hand teddy bear and 2 colors of ink (Warm Rose and deep dark blue/purple). The original teddy bear was dipped in East India ink and printed in its entirety onto paper. From this original bear artwork, a silkscreen print was made in an edition of 25 bears.
Technique: Hand-pulled screen print on 340 gram (acid-free) handmade paper
Including: Artist Certificate of Authenticity
Worldwide delivery / shipping within 48 hours in a tube. The work is shipped without a frame.
Edition: 25 (Signature and embossing on front of silkscreen)

Michiel Folkers, aka Gieler (1982), started with graffiti in Amsterdam in the late nineties. Years later, he swapped the street walls for canvas in his studio. Much of his work still vividly reflects or evokes the feeling of the streets. Currently, his work is traveling around the world, exhibiting in galleries from Zurich to New York. His work has become especially popular in America in recent years, and it hangs in the homes of several 'famous people'.
