Description from the seller
For this artwork, only second-hand teddy bears have been used, sourced from flea markets or rescued from the trash and immortalized in this way. The piece is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries, but the bear also frequently appears in various forms on the street. (See photos).
The original teddy bear has been dipped in rose ink. Thereafter, it was pressed in its entirety onto acid-free museum paper.
Technique: 2 colors, heavy (640 g) acid-free pressed paper / background is light blue acrylic

Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late nineties as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels around the world and can be seen in galleries from Zurich to New York.
