In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.
Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, prompted by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo exhibition at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.
