The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all charges from the United States to your home.

IMPORTANT: NEVER accept a damaged package without opening and inspecting it.

If the artwork is damaged, you must refuse delivery and specify the reason for the refusal on the delivery slip, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is deteriorated but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. Conversely, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without verifying your purchase at delivery, we cannot request compensation or a replacement.

If you make a withdrawal request, DHL fees will remain your responsibility. You will be responsible for the DHL Express delivery charges, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 years old that year according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive two-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl Lagasse’s artistic career began at age 7 with collages, spurred by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He later turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition blending paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme “In God We Trust” at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo exhibition at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works before the international press.

2026: – Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, weighing 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.
2025: – Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the new Pavillon des Bains on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by the mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.
2024: – Art Miami – Collective exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram 1m80 and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: – Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
– Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St. Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: – New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”

2020: – Beginning of work on the largest piece ever created by the artist: the One Dollar Bronze Green 8 Meters.

2019: – Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, depicting his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2018: – Creation of a new sculpture for the festival trophy of the Deauville American Film Festival; among the artists who received the artist’s trophy sculpture are: Morgan Freeman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle Fanning, Jason Clarke, and many others...

2017: – Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: – Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter tall, fully bronze One Dollar was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
– First in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: – Second collaboration with Maserati, creating a monumental installation entitled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work comprises a Maserati covered with a white film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are laid on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: – Maserati presents for the world premiere the Maserati Ghibli revisited by Karl Lagasse for the brand’s 100th anniversary.
– Solo exhibition at the Italian embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador in France hosted a dinner in his presence, around the artist’s works.

2013: – Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: – Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the city’s entrance.
– For the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s key moments.
