The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which manages import and customs clearance, before returning them individually to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and note the reason for the refusal on the bill of lading, mentioning issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is deteriorated but the contents are intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the contents are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without verifying your purchase at delivery, we cannot request compensation or a replacement.

If you request a withdrawal, the DHL fees will remain your responsibility. You will be responsible for the DHL Express shipping fees, which are non-refundable. Only the price of the artwork will be refunded.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking that year among the top ten sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, prompted by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at Galerie Isy Brachot in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme "In God We Trust" at Galerie Artco France. His solo exhibition in 2016 at Galerie Atrium in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works before the international press.

2026: - Finalization of the work One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters tall, 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Placed near the newly built Baths Pavilion, on the Promenade Michel d’Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. On this occasion, a bronze cryptogram 1.80 m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival, on which occasion the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the work « A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City ».
- Presentation of American Film Festival trophies to Thandiwe Newton, Jesse Eisenberg, Ana de Armas…

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture, representing his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2018: - Creation of a new sculpture for the Deauville American Film Festival trophy; among the artists who received the artist’s trophy sculpture are: Morgan Freeman, Sarah Jessica Parker, Elle Fanning, Jason Clarke and many others...

- Several One Dollar sculptures by the artist exhibited inside the Royal Monceau Hotel.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Maison Cartier in creating the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall bronze “One Dollar” was displayed at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- Debut in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work features a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar banknotes are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt.

2014: - Maserati presents in a world premiere the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by artist Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand’s 100th anniversary.

2013: - Automobile Club de France collective exhibition, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the city entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos recounting the festival’s history.
