The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually returned to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all charges from the United States to your home.

If the work is damaged, you must refuse delivery and indicate the reason for the refusal on the delivery note, noting issues such as “broken,” “scratched,” “damaged,” or “folded.” If only the packaging is damaged but the content is intact, you may accept the package. However, if both the packaging and the content are damaged, you must refuse the package without hesitation. Note that if you accept the package without inspecting your purchase upon delivery, we cannot request compensation or a replacement.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained notoriety in 2009 with his sculptures One Dollar, ranking that year among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the Republic of France warmly congratulated Karl on his impressive two-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl’s artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, spurred by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition blending paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

2026: - Finalization of One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The world's largest One Dollar sculpture created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the all-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d'Ornano, inaugurated by the mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Collectors Gallery Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a 1.8-meter bronze cryptogram and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special edition St. Regis One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square, projection on the Nasdaq screen of the artwork “A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City.”
- American Film Festival trophies presented to Thandiwe Newton, Jesse Eisenberg, Ana de Armas…

2021: - New studio in Austin, Texas, USA.
- Solo exhibition of the artist.
- Finalization of the sculpture “Ascension of Christ” after several years of work.

2020: - Beginning work on the largest piece ever created by the artist: the One Dollar Bronze Green 8 Meters.
- Deauville American Film Festival: he creates a new sculpture in collaboration with the city of Deauville, inspired by the barriers along the Deauville promenade (the planks).

2019: - Deauville American Film Festival: the artist created a new sculpture depicting his dollar engraved in aluminum.

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter-tall bronze “One Dollar” was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Marbella Atrium gallery, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of the international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati, creating a monumental installation titled “A Piece of Heaven on Earth.” This work comprises a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several dollar-bill sculptures are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s greatest debt

2014: - Maserati presents for the world premiere the Maserati Ghibli reimagined by Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand’s 100th anniversary.

2013: - Collective exhibition Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: - Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze Cryptogram One sculpture, which permanently remains at the city’s entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a photo collage tracing the festival’s history.
