Michiel Folkers (1982), Bear 114-3-5 (ORIGINAL) is a unique acrylic painting on museum paper, in blue and purple with a light grey background, measuring 70 by 50 cm, signed on the front and including an Artist Certificate of Authenticity, dated 2026 and depicting animals in the wild.
Description from the seller
For this artwork, only second-hand teddy bears have been used, sourced from flea markets or rescued from the trash and immortalized in this way. The piece is sold worldwide to art collectors and galleries, but the bear also frequently appears in various forms on the street. (See photos).
The original teddy bear has been dipped in blue/purple ink. Then it was pressed in its entirety onto museum paper. The background color is light gray acrylic.
Technique: 2 colors blue/purple, background is light gray / 340-gram acid-free paper.
Including: Artist Certificate of Authenticity
Delivery: Worldwide shipping within 48 hours, rolled in a cylinder.

Michiel Folkers, better known as Gieler (1982), began in the late nineties as a graffiti artist in Amsterdam. He now works in his studio, but the rawness of the street remains visible in his art. His work travels around the world and can be seen in galleries from Zurich to New York.
