Authentic Norwegian festbordsølv (ceremonial table silver) sugar sprinkle spoon in solid 830 silver, produced by Sylvsmidja, Voss, one of Norway’s most renowned traditional silversmith workshops.

This distinctive “strøskje” features the characteristic twisted stem and hanging leaf motif, a design inspired by traditional Norwegian bunad silver (national costume jewellery). The form is rooted in historic Norwegian spoon types from the early 17th century, later reinterpreted for ceremonial tableware in the late 19th century and early 20th century.

According to the producer’s own historical notes, this model is based on old Norwegian strøskjeer found in several museum collections, including the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History (Norsk Folkemuseum) in Oslo, making this an object with direct reference to preserved national heritage designs.
