An ensemble of wrought-iron keys from the 17th and 18th centuries. A notable collection of large keys: the largest measures 17.5 cm and weighs 346 g. The entire set weighs 1,765 g.
Superb collection of 30 large and substantial keys, including 23 wrought-iron keys from the 17th and 18th centuries, and 19th-century keys.
Several have a ring in the shape of frog legs.
All are made of original hand-forged iron.
A very rare ensemble on the market.
Provenance: private collection assembled over the course of an amateur's life.
