With Redial Desire, I wanted to capture this simple yet universal idea: desire never truly disappears. It returns. It persists. It redials the number.
The red telephone symbolises this repetition. We hang up… then we call back. We resist… then we yield. The visual tension between the purity of the red background, the frontal stance, and the minimalist staging creates a direct face-to-face with the viewer. It is a work about attraction, about the irresistible call.
