I wanted to evoke mythical America: the endless roads, vintage cars, the crushing heat, the fantasy of absolute freedom.
But here, freedom isn’t naïve. It’s tense. The red heels contrast with the dusty asphalt — elegance against the raw vastness.
This work is about choice. Getting into the car... or continuing alone.
