Rechaud - Pearls - Silverplated - 2-burner dish warmer

Beautiful rechaud in silvered metal, with an exclusive and richly openworked ajour decoration. A rechaud, or chauffe-plat, dish warmer or chafing dish is a device used to keep dishes warm at the table. This is, for example, ideal for sauces, vegetable platters, casseroles, potatoes, gratins, or a côte à l'os. Do not underestimate the power of two tealights; with them you can perfectly keep a large meat dish at temperature. With four, you can easily keep a lasagna of 2.5 kg warm or a coffee pot almost boiling.

This rechaud is finished with a decorated edge in 'Perles'. This specimen is not stamped, but an identical model was also produced by Christofle.

This rechaud is in excellent condition, with small marks from sporadic use. It will certainly continue to bring warmth to every festive table for generations to come.
