Billy Mills signed this photograph of his victory in the 10,000 meters at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
Certified by Beckett with the Beckett COA in the form of a unique QR code that is listed on the Beckett website.
Billy Mills was born on a Native American reservation in South Dakota in 1964, and he won the gold medal in the 10,000 meters at the Olympics.
This victory changed his life. He was cheered by his tribe as a warrior and received the name Makoce Teh'la, which translates to "loves his country". He has dedicated a large part of his life to working with Native American communities and remains the first and, so far, the only American to win Olympic gold in the 10,000 meters.
In addition to the signature, he added "Olympic 10k Gold".
