Chemin de Provence is an oil painting on panel by André Zigrand (born 1921), dating from the 1950s, in a Neo-Impressionist style from France, original edition, signed at the bottom right, sold with the heavy Montparnasse frame, measuring 57 × 49 cm with frame (panel 40 × 33 cm).

From a private collection, in very good condition
A very beautiful Provençal landscape. Between the ochre stone walls, this path leads us to the horizon in a summer atmosphere, between areas shaded by the trees. The clay-colored earths convey the brightness and warmth of the place. A mas, barely visible, is nestled in the distance as the discreet mark of human presence that the painter

André Zigrand, is a French painter and architect born in Paris 14th arrondissement on January 12, 1921, admitted to the École des Arts Décoratifs on October 9, 1937, pupil of Charles Bayonne and Jean Démaret, admitted to the École des Beaux-Arts (1942), pupil of André Lurçat (entered the studio on November 20, 1945), then of Pierre Vivien.
