Description from the seller
A female portrait with a modern and bold style, depicting an elegant and self-confident woman, immersed in a geometric context. Clean lines and vibrant colors interact with a dynamic geometric background. The red dress and the intense gaze make the figure the absolute protagonist, suspended between elegance and sensuality.
Cesare Tolomelli is an Italian painter born in Bologna, a city where he developed his artistic skills by attending the School of Art. From a young age, he embarked on a painting research path focused on experimenting with color and form.
He currently lives and works in Rimini, a context that has profoundly influenced his stylistic evolution and visual language.
Over the years, he has participated in numerous painting competitions and art exhibitions in Italy, receiving recognition and positive feedback from the public and critics, thanks to a personal and immediately recognizable style.
Her research focuses on the chromatic and geometric decomposition of reality, with particular attention to the expressive power of color as an emotional vehicle. The figures, often female, are reinterpreted through chromatic planes, tonal contrasts, and soft shapes, creating images suspended between figuration and abstraction.
Tolomelli adheres to the Rimini colourist movement, within which he develops an intense and vibrant painting style, where colour is never descriptive but structural and emotional. The painted surface thus becomes a space of balance between intuition and control, between instinctive energy and compositional construction.
His works are part of private collections in Italy and abroad, confirming the international interest in a production capable of engaging with the language of modern and contemporary art, particularly with the experiences of Cubism and expressionist painting revisited in a personal way.
