Art Deco Uranium Glass Candy Dish – 1930s – Hexagonal – Glows under UV
Elegant Art Deco covered candy dish in frosted green pressed uranium glass, dating from the 1930s.
This piece features a geometric hexagonal design, stepped pedestal base and a stylised fan-shaped finial on the lid, characteristic of the Art Deco period.
The glass contains uranium and shows a vivid bright green fluorescence under UV light (see photos), a highly desirable feature among collectors of uranium glass.
