Piet Wiegman (Petrus Jacobus Maria) was a Dutch artist who was born in 1930 in Heemstede and died there in 2008. He lived and worked there. He took lessons for several years (oil painting) from P.C. Kloes; beyond that, he was largely self-taught. He painted, drew (also with a pen) and etches, in an expressionistic manner, people in grouped settings (in cafes or on terraces), portraits and landscapes.
