Description from the seller

This collection of Raoul Henri "Cuvée d'Autrefois" Fixin 2012 represents a classic expression of the Côte de Nuits, specifically from the village of Fixin which is often celebrated as the "little brother" to Gevrey-Chambertin. While this specific cuvée does not carry a widely published Robert Parker score, it is recognized for its robust structure and earthy, dark-fruit profile typical of the region. The six bottles presented appear to be in excellent condition with fill levels at the neck, featuring excellent labels and excellent capsules that show no signs of leakage or cork protrusion. These are standard 750ml bottles and are Negociant bottled by Raoul Henri, a name associated with traditional Burgundian winemaking focused on preserving the "old style" (as the name Cuvée d’Autrefois implies). Having aged for over a decade, the 2012 vintage has entered its prime drinking window; the tannins should be well-integrated and the tertiary notes of forest floor and leather beginning to emerge. This wine is ready to drink now to enjoy its peak complexity, though it will comfortably hold for another 3–5 years in a cellar.
