Original Italian horn container for pistol powder and a brass capsule container set, in good condition, comprising a 20.5 × 5.5 × 3 cm horn powder measure with its original-like cord and a 6 × 8.5 × 1 cm brass capsule box for 40 caps, provenance Modena, Emilia Romagna, Italy.

Lot consisting of two extremely rare objects to find together and in excellent condition; no restorations, only delicate cleaning of the details that preserve the antique patina.
Beautiful original collectible items dating back to the 19th century, completely free of dust residues and therefore safe to handle.
Origin: Modena, Emilia-Romagna, Italy.
1- Powder horn container for pistol/rifle reload powder, complete with the rope, probably original, observing the correct length, the braiding of the cords and the knots left intact.
Fully functional in the powder dosing movements with 5 settings: 45-50-55-60-65, and a spring-lever opening for powder discharge.
Complete with all details, the horn shows signs of wear with a few small holes and a fracture in the brass collar, as can be seen in the photos. The fracture does not affect the object's solidity and it does not detach from the horn.
Dimensions: 20.5 x 5.5 x 3 cm thick, weight 90 g. Material: bovine horn and brass. String length about 125/130 cm (2 x 63 cm).
2- Container for 40 detonator capsules, with 6 inert capsules still inside (copper, marked SB on the bottom). Fully functional in the spring-driven movement and the opening for reloading new capsules.
