The work is framed within a contemporary reinterpretation of the Cubist language, articulating the composition through geometric fragmentation and the structural construction of space.
In “Urban Constellation” the city does not appear as landscape, but as structure. The composition is organized as a system of planes, tensions and calibrated volumes that interact with each other like bodies in orbit. Each form possesses autonomy, but at the same time depends on the architecture surrounding it to sustain the balance.
The work is inscribed in a contemporary re-reading of cubist language. Space is not represented; it is constructed. Fragmentation does not imply rupture, but method: the planes intersect, overlap, and reorganize the gaze, generating a visual rhythm that is more architectural than narrative. There is not a single focal point, but a constellation of relationships.
Color acts as both energy and containment at the same time. The chromatic fields introduce dynamism, while the geometric structure imposes order. That controlled tension reflects the complexity of the urban environment, but also its capacity for harmony.
In this work, geometry breathes. The city transforms into interior architecture, into a composite system where movement and stability coexist. “Urban Constellation” is a reflection on how fragmentation can be organized in balance and how, within complexity, it is possible to build coherence.
