The work is situated within a contemporary reinterpretation of Synthetic Cubism, articulating the figure through streamlined geometric planes and integrating form and space into a unified compositional structure.

In this work I start from synthesis. I’m not interested in describing a face, but in building it. The figure is reduced to essential planes, to surfaces that intersect and generate balance. Each form is conceived as part of a larger architecture where space does not surround the subject, but rather composes it.

I work from a contemporary rereading of synthetic Cubism. Fragmentation does not seek to decompose, but to organize. The profile arises among fields of color that function as autonomous structures; the background ceases to be background to become a system. Everything is interconnected.

Duality is the conceptual core. Two presences face each other without touching, separated by vertical and horizontal axes that act as both boundaries and bridges at the same time. It is a silent dialogue between identity and alterity, between interior and exterior.

Color is not decorative. It is measured tension. The chromatic blocks build rhythm and temperature, creating a sense of dynamic containment. Geometry does not cool the scene; it sustains it.

This work is an exercise in balance: the search for harmony within fragmentation. A space where the figure does not impose itself on the surroundings, but is born from it.
