Modernist landscape by Ludwik Dvoracek (1895–1970), a hand signed original mixed‑technique work from 1943, Czechia, 36.6 cm high by 44.6 cm wide, depicting a landscape in the 1940–1950 period and framed.
Description from the seller
This modernist landscape was executed in 1943 by famous Czech painter and graphic artist Ludwik Dvoracek, born 1895 in Brno. The artist studied in Prague under Max Svabinsky and worked in Brno as painter, later to become a professor. He travelled to Germany, Sweden, other European countries and exhibited a lot during the 1920s. Works of L.Dvoracek are exhibited at the Chrudin Museum in Brno.

Inscription: signed in pencil lower right.
Technique: original watercolour on paper, framed .
Measurements: unframed w 15 3/4 " x h 11 3/4 " (40 x 30 cm), matted and framed w 17 1/2 " x h 14 1/3" (44,6 x 36,6 cm).
Condition: in very good condition.
