Description

A contemporary painting that depicts a human figure swimming beneath the surface of the water, captured from an underwater perspective that emphasizes movement, lightness, and the relationship between the body and the aquatic medium.

Alejandro Carballosa, a Cuban visual artist and designer residing in Spain, has a career marked by the exploration of strength, emotion, and beauty in the animal and human figure. Trained in visual arts and design, he integrates the aesthetic sensitivity of classical art with modern resources, creating pieces that balance energy and introspection.
His work has been exhibited in group and solo exhibitions, and is part of private collections in Germany and the United States.
