Offered for auction is an exceptional Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus) bonsai featuring a powerful, mature trunk and dramatic natural movement reminiscent of ancient Mediterranean coastal vegetation.
This specimen immediately stands out for its impressive 7 cm trunk diameter, displaying aged bark texture, deep fissures, and natural twisting movement. The lower section shows beautiful curvature and taper, creating a dynamic S-shaped structure full of character.
The tree reaches an overall height of approximately 30 cm, with a balanced canopy width of 33 cm, offering strong proportions relative to the trunk thickness.
The foliage is healthy and vigorous, composed of narrow aromatic needle-like leaves typical of Mediterranean rosemary. The branching structure is already well defined and provides excellent potential for further refinement into a compact and highly expressive bonsai.
